World Vitals / Source Discovery
This registry is the start of the World Vitals data supply chain: discover catalogues, score their reliability and automation potential, then promote verified primary sources into Postgres-backed ingestion jobs.
Operating model
Catalogues are harvested for metadata only. The production pipeline then validates licence, authority, update cadence, API shape, and topic relevance before any source can feed public charts.
Database backbone
The schema now covers sources, datasets, indicators, observations, source snapshots, ingestion runs, derived metrics, insights, and chart specifications. The app can serve seeded data today and switch to `DATABASE_URL` persistence when credentials are added.
